Welcome to Ilovu ("the App"), your personal haven for cherishing and sharing precious memories with loved ones. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you ("the User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions outlined in this User Agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.
Ilovu is designed to help you preserve moments with family, friends, and cherished connections through personalized profiles, photos, videos, descriptions, mood tags, and slideshows. The App operates without requiring user accounts, allowing you to dive straight into creating and curating memories.
2.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using Ilovu, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.
2.2 Permitted Use: You may use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes to create, store, organize, and share memories with your loved ones. You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and ethical standards.
2.3 Prohibited Activities: You shall not:
3.1 Coin Usage: Ilovu uses a unique coin-based system to facilitate the creation of memories (photos, videos, descriptions, mood tags) and slideshows. Coins are provided to you as part of the App’s functionality to encourage intentional curation of meaningful moments.
3.2 Coin Availability: The App may offer coins through initial sign-up (without an account), in-app activities, or other promotions at its discretion. The number and availability of coins are subject to change without prior notice, provided that such changes do not unreasonably impact your ability to use the App for its intended purpose.
3.3 No Monetary Value: Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be purchased, sold, traded, or exchanged for cash, goods, or services. Coins are non-transferable between users.
4.1 Your Content: You retain full ownership of all content (photos, videos, descriptions, mood tags, profiles, and other materials) that you upload, create, or store in the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant Ilovu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App’s services (e.g., displaying memories in your profile, generating slideshows, enabling sharing with your selected contacts).
4.2 Responsibility for User Content: You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of sharing or storing it. You warrant that you have the right to upload and use all User Content in the App, and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
4.3 Content Removal: Ilovu reserves the right to remove or disable access to any User Content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate, harmful, or infringing. We may also remove content if requested by a third party with a valid claim of rights infringement.
5.1 Slideshow Creation: You can use the App’s features to turn your collected memories into slideshows. The App provides tools to customize slideshows (e.g., music, transitions, order of moments) for personal use and sharing with loved ones.
5.2 Sharing Functionality: The App may allow you to share memories or slideshows with others via supported platforms (e.g., messaging apps, email). When sharing, you acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring the recipient is authorized to view the content, and you agree not to share content that violates these terms or third-party rights.
5.3 Intellectual Property in Slideshows: The slideshow templates, music, transitions, and other pre-provided elements in the App are the intellectual property of Ilovu. You may use these elements solely within the App to create slideshows for personal, non-commercial use.
6.1 Availability: Ilovu strives to make the App available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may temporarily suspend the App for maintenance, updates, or technical issues without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by temporary unavailability.
6.2 Updates: We may release updates to the App (including bug fixes, feature enhancements, or security improvements) from time to time. These updates may be mandatory to continue using the App, and by using the App, you agree to accept such updates.
7.1 Your Right to Terminate: You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling the App will not automatically delete your User Content stored locally on your device; please refer to your device’s settings to manage local data.
7.2 Ilovu’s Right to Terminate: We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited activities, or if we determine that your use of the App is harmful to other users or the App’s functionality. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App.
Ilovu is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, content, or memories. You acknowledge that storing digital content carries inherent risks (e.g., device failure, data corruption) and agree to take appropriate measures to back up your User Content.
We may update this User Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in the App’s features, legal requirements, or best practices. When we make changes, we will notify you by posting the updated agreement in the App or via other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
